Year 6-8 Prospectus
Our Cambridge Lower Secondary Framework offers a flexible curriculum that we develop to suit our Multinational Student needs. We have a curriculum framework for each of the core subjects – English, English as a second language, mathematics, humanities and science; as well as other languages, the arts, and physical education – providing a clear teaching structure. We also use a variety integrated assessments to monitor learners’ progress.
Each curriculum framework is designed to engage learners in an active and creative learning journey. We have a clear focus on critical thinking, working together, solving problems, and communicating effectively and creatively.
The curriculum takes into account the different ways that children learn, it supports innovative teaching and learning activities and promotes a “hands on” child-centred environment. The curriculum assists us in meeting the multicultural needs of our students. Throughout the curriculum there is specific material that caters for the needs of students that have English as a second or third language. The Curriculum also supports special needs children to meet the learning outcomes of Multinational School.
