Providing good quality education for their children is one of the greatest challenges facing many expatriates residing in Riyadh. For some this is achieved by enrolling children in one of the community-centred schools which operate here under the authority of the Ministry of Education (Foreign Education Department). In recent years it has become increasingly clear to the authorities, as well as to some sections of the expatriate community in Riyadh, that these arrangements were not meeting the needs of everyone. Many numerically small communities now exist within our city, which have not yet the size or ability to set up community-based schools. Their children need good quality schooling nevertheless.
Appointments must be arranged through the Office by telephone or fax for any parent to meet with the Coordinator or any of the Teachers.
As much as the School appreciates the importance of communication between parents and teachers, we would ask you to please observe the following procedure. The most effective way of communicating with a staff member is to write a note in your child's homework diary. If you need to speak with a teacher, please contact School Reception who will then ask the teacher to contact you as soon as possible. Please bear in mind that a teacher's day can be very busy and it may not be possible to call back immediately.
Please do not go directly to the classroom without a prior appointment as this can be very disruptive for the class. We would also ask you not to contact staff at home either by telephone or going to their home.
If you do not wish to speak to the class teacher but have an issue you would like to discuss, then please make an appointment with your child's respective Area Coordinator as follows:
